24/7: Canelo-Golovkin (Sneak Preview)

The first full installment of HBO’s 24/7 will debut this Saturday night.

HBO has unveiled it’s sneak preview to the first episode of 24/7: Canelo-Golovkin, which is set to begin airing this Saturday night, immediately following Cotto-Kamegai. You can catch the preview video above.

This installment of 24/7 will be a short one, two episodes, which will feature behind-the-scenes footage of both Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin as they lead into their September 16th fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The episodes will also be made available through On Demand, HBO NOW, and HBO GO, per usual.

According to the press release, the first episode will trace Canelo and Golovkin’s “path to greatness” by visiting their homelands of Mexico and Kazakhstan. One can also expect there to be some training footage and interviews, which is sort of typical for this whole thing.

Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin will be going head-to-head in one of the most highly anticipated fights in recent years, one expected to be full of action. And it certainly can’t come soon enough!
