Derevyanchenko vs Johnson: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

Two intriguing middleweight matchups highlight tonight’s PBC on FS1 card.

Tonight at 9 pm ET on FS1, Sergiy Derevyanchenko and Tureano Johnson meet in an IBF eliminator at 160 pounds, with the winner in line for a shot at one of the titles to be decided between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez on September 16.

Derevyanchenko (10-0, 8 KO) is both a top prospect and a contender in the division right now, a 31-year-old who fought for Ukraine as an amateur, with some international success. Johnson (20-1, 14 KO) has been in the contender mix as a pro for a couple of years now, dating back to a controversial loss to Curtis Stevens in 2014. He’s won six in a row since, though the competition has not exactly been outstanding.

The card will also feature another middleweight bout, a 10-round fight between Immanuwel Aleem (17-0-1, 10 KO) and Hugo Centeno Jr (25-1, 13 KO). Aleem, 23, is coming off of a strong upset win over Ievgen Khytrov in January, which raised Aleem from curiosity to serious prospect. Centeno, 26, was himself considered a strong prospect before a loss to Maciej Sulecki in 2016, but he’s certainly young enough to bounce back, so this is an interesting co-feature, too.
