Mayweather vs McGregor: Did you get your money’s worth?

With all said and done, were you happy with how things turned out?

Well, it’s over. Floyd Mayweather stopped Conor McGregor in the 10th round. The fight is done. Mayweather won, as we expected.

But was it worth the pay-per-view money? That’s up for debate.

On the one hand, it’s not like it was a great fight. That would require a skill level higher than we saw, really, and for something more dramatic than Mayweather (50-0, 27 KO) losing a few rounds while he didn’t do much of anything, only to eventually walk down and batter McGregor en route to the stoppage.

On the other hand, it was certainly different, and in my view, it was good, enjoyable entertainment, served up for what it was, with no expectations for it to be anything truly great, at least not by most of us here who bought the show.

In the end, did you feel ripped off or content with your purchase? Were you happy enough, or was it still a buncha junk?
