According to a report from RingTV, Top Rank has just scheduled another card slated for ESPN. In its scheduled fourth card on the network, set for September 22 in Tuscon, Arizona, we’ll see WBO featherweight titlist Oscar Valdez (22-0, 19 KOs) defend his belt against little known Genesis Servania (29-0, 12 KOs).
Valdez is most recently coming off a unanimous decision win over Miguel Marriaga in April, who just again lost badly to Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday. His opponent, Servania, is an undefeated challenger but has never fought in the States nor against anyone near Valdez’s level. The Filipino fighter who is based out of Japan will be making a big step up in competition for this one.
In the card’s co-feature bout, WBO super middleweight titlist Gilberto Ramirez (35-0, 24 KOs) will also put his strap on the line against Jessie Hart (22-0, 18 KOs) in a really solid match-up.
Ramirez most recently won a unanimous decision over Max Bursak in April himself, while Hart scored a stoppage win over Alan Campa in the same month. This card with mark the second consecutive occasion Valdez and Ramirez have been paired together.
