Canelo vs Golovkin: How did you score the fight?

We saw a draw last night, but how did YOU have it?

Last night’s fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin turned out pretty damn well overall, an entertaining bout with great atmosphere in front of a big crowd in Las Vegas, and we saw high-level boxing between two of the sport’s best.

But in the end, we got more controversy, with a split draw ruled on scores of 114-114, 115-113 Golovkin, and 118-110 Alvarez, the latter coming from judge Adalaide Byrd, and unanimously agreed to be a tremendously bad card.

So how did YOU score the fight? We’ve heard decent, rational arguments for both, or for an even card. There’s plenty of debate to be had about the outcome, but the discussion about Byrd’s horrendous scoring has largely dominated that discussion, and that’s not our question.

How did you have it? How did you arrive at your score? Was it the pressure of Golovkin or the often sharper work of Canelo that carried the fight for you?
