Conor McGregor ‘knows’ he would beat Mayweather in rematch

Conor McGregor isn’t calling Floyd Mayweather out, but still thinks he can beat him.

Hi. Hello. I’m sorry we’re doing this to you, but listen, or don’t: Conor McGregor is certain that if he got a boxing rules rematch with Floyd Mayweather, he’d win the second time around.

From MMA Fighting:

“What’s sickening me is that the little motherfucker is retired now. I know if I went another go with him, under boxing rules, I’d get that win. I know that. I know by the feeling of him in the first fight. He had to change his whole approach. He fought completely different than he ever fought. He couldn’t figure out what I was doing early on.

“With the lessons I learned from that first fight, if I had another go now, I’d get him. At the same time, he’s 50-0 and he’s getting on, I’m not gonna start calling him out. I’m happy to see a fighter (do well).”

I really have nothing to add to this. I don’t think he’d beat Mayweather in a rematch were it to happen any time soon. Maybe when Mayweather is 50, if his hip starts to go or something. I don’t know.

But it’s a story. Famous people, traffic, slow week, etc. Have fun.
