Roman Gonzalez and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai headline a super flyweight tripleheader tomorrow night on HBO, live from the StubHub Center. And for the last promotional push all the fighters featured on the card (which also includes Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Carlos Cuadras and Naoya Inoue vs. Antonio Nieves) appeared for the final press conference to speak their piece.
Now I’m going to be perfectly honest with you guys here: this presser features a lot of K2 promoter Tom Loeffler, which may be expected as most of the fighters barely speak a lick of English. That said, the presser does feature Cuadras punching rubber chicken — so there’s that.
Anyway, the fighter’s will let their hands do the talking tomorrow night, and that’s all we really care about. The HBO telecast will feature three fights on the card which showcases the best of the super flyweight division, and could set up some bigger fights down the line. And there’s little doubt that there will be plenty of action on the card, especially considering the magic of StubHub, so we’re in for a good time.
