The previously reported bout between Oscar Valdez and Scott Quigg is reportedly official for March 10th on ESPN. The Ring says that “terms are agreed” for the fight, which will go down at Carson, California’s StubHub Center.

BoxRec has Jessie Magdaleno, who shares a manager with Valdez, attached to the card, currently against TBA but hopefully against interim champ Isaac Dogboe. The event page also lists Esquiva Falcao, Alex Saucedo, and Mikaela Mayer.

Valdez (23-0, 19 KO) will be facing the stiffest test of his career by far. He looked solid against Miguel Marriaga and Genesis Servania, but Quigg (34-1-2, 25 KO) was a world-class super bantamweight looking to make an impact at 126 pounds.

Good to have confirmation so quickly. We’ll let you know if Magdaleno or the rest get real opponents.
