According to Dan Rafael at ESPN.com, the February 10 fight between Mikey Garcia and IBF junior welterweight titleholder Sergey Lipinets will be postponed, as Lipinets has suffered a hand injury in training and been forced out of the date.

Rafael’s source also says that with the main event off, the entire card is likely to be pulled for the time being. That includes the rematch between Rances Barthelemy and Kiryl Relikh, and Richard Commey’s fight with Alejandro Luna.

Lipinets (13-0, 10 KO) was coming off of a November 4 win over Akihiro Kondo, where he picked up one of the belts Terence Crawford vacated months ago. Garcia (37-0, 30 KO) was the big favorite here, but he hasn’t fought since July, when he beat Adrien Broner. A longer break is not ideal for anyone, but he’s proven he can handle long (long) breaks in the past, too.

Hopefully, the injury isn’t serious and the fight can get rescheduled without any hassle.
