Northern Ireland's Carl Frampton will face four-weight world champion Nonito Donaire in Belfast on April 21st at the SSE Arena.
Rumours previously circulated that the fight would be scheduled on the 7th of April, however, the arena has confirmed the later date.
Donaire, 35, is likely to provide tough opposition for Frampton, having won seven world championships in his 17 year career.
Featherweight fighter Frampton returned to the ring after a 10 month hiatus, defeating Mexican puncher Horacio Garcia on points last November. The 30-year-old now hopes to challenge for a world title crown at Windsor Park this summer.
"The Jackal,” a former two-weight world champion, lost his WBA world championship to Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas at the tail end of January.
Frampton also parted ways with Barry McGuigan’s management company "Cyclone Promotions" in the summer.
With IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby set to face Josh Warrington, another win could propel Frampton into the conversation for a title shot against the winner.
