So, another ridiculous thing just happened...Deontay Wilder recently appeared on an ESPN show and decided to flash his power on some poor soul in a mascot costume (who probably doesn’t even have healthcare benefits).
Just have a look...
Deontay Wilder was asked to show off his punching power by hitting a mascot...

He didn't realise a real human was inside the costume

Word is spreading that the person inside the suit suffered a broken jaw from the punch. Oh — and that Wilder apparently “didn’t realize” there was an actual person in that outfit when he leveled it, which is the most mindbogglingly hilarious part of the story.
I don’t know who’s at most to blame for this whole thing. What producer thought this bit would be a good idea? What did Wilder think was inside that costume?! Do mascots get hazard pay?! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!
What I do know, however, is that this is a personal injury lawyer’s dream come true. And if everything works out as it should that mascot will be earning enough to retire from that hard knock life.
