Hey, ready for something dumb?
Khabib Nurmagomedov, the UFC champion who beat Conor McGregor and then caused a big uproar after the fight by jumping the cage and attacking members of McGregor’s team, starting a full-scale brawl, has called out Floyd Mayweather.
“Let’s go, Floyd. We have to fight now. 50-0 vs 27-0, two guys who never lose, why not? Because in the jungle there is only one king. Of course I am the king because he could not drop McGregor and I dropped him easily.”
By all means, yes, let’s endure Mayweather toying with another famous MMA guy in a boxing match.
I mean, I can’t blame Khabib here, as the fight would be worth money. I don’t know how much — not as much as the Conor fight last year — but it would be worth money. And for the same reason, I wouldn’t really blame Mayweather for taking advantage of gullible consumers, either.
Luckily, this probably won’t happen. But then we said the same thing about the McGregor fight.
