Arum: Spence-Crawford could be made in three hours

Bob Arum says “forget marinating!” What is the world coming to?!

In this video interview with Top Rank’s Bob Arum, the promoter answers questions on some big potential fights that are perceived as being long shots at this particular time. Check out a quick except below with the full video interview above.

Arum on if he thinks a fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence can happen sooner than later:

“As far as I’m concerned, do the best fights as soon as possible. Forget about marinating. The best fight at lightweight is [Vasyl] Lomachenko and [Mikey] Garcia. If Lomachenko is successful against Pedraza, do that fight right away!

“Also, there’s no reason to do any fights for Terence or for Spence unless they fight each other. But again, it takes two to tango. I really mean that, I’m not playing games. You know, they wanna make that fight they can make it. It’ll take probably three hours to do a Crawford-Spence fight.”
