Conor McGregor was in the crowd on Saturday in Boston to see, among others, Irish women’s lightweight champion Katie Taylor, a hero in their shared home country and a very popular athlete.
DAZN, which streamed the card, took the meeting of the two combat sports stars for a light-hearted jab today on Twitter:

It’s a nice little way to get some attention and promote Katie Taylor as the star that she is, and just a cute joke-y tweet, really. Though I guess I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if McGregor got mad, I don’t expect that he will.
Taylor (11-0, 5 KO) shut out Cindy Serrano on Saturday night, successfully defending her WBA and IBF titles. It was a terrific showing against arguably her best opponent to date. In just two years as a pro, she’s already become one of the best women’s boxers in the world, with an increasingly high profile for her fights as a world champion.
