After a dominant victory over James Tennyson this past weekend, Tevin Farmer has his sights on another Irishman in IBF #5 Jono Carroll, whom he wants to fight on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Rocky Fielding.

you never met anyone like me.
I got no problem taking that belt off you it will be a nice christmas presant mate. lets do it.
Carroll (16-0, 3 KO), who scored two of those three knockouts in his last two fights, has a Prizefighter win and a couple of local IBF trinkets to his name. He was last seen stopping Declan Geraghty in June, after which he signed with Matchroom. He’d intended to compete in a final eliminator for a shot at the IBF belt, but he’s happy to jump the line.
As an aside, I have a sneaking suspicion he may have written his own Wikipedia page.
Farmer (27-4-1, 6 KO) took practically no damage against Tennyson, so I don’t imagine him having issues with a quick turnaround. Plus, Carroll’s aggression should make for a cracking fight, which would make Farmer’s pursuit of Gervonta Davis more palatable for the powers that be.
