Today at 4 pm ET streaming live on ESPN+ in the United States, and airing on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom, Kubrat Pulev and Hughie Fury meet in an IBF heavyweight eliminator in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Pulev (25-1, 13 KO) is the veteran and the home fighter here, but the 37-year-old hasn’t fought in 18 months, since beating Kevin Johnson in April 2017. He was supposed to face Anthony Joshua last year, but pulled out due to injury, and has had a series of potential opponents for fights in 2018 fall through.

Fury (21-1, 11 KO) last fought on May 12, beating Sam Sexton to win the British heavyweight title, but his goal here is to get back to a world title fight. He fought and lost to Joseph Parker in a WBO shot in 2017.

The fight is set for 12 rounds, with the winner in line for a shot at Anthony Joshua, who has the IBF, WBA, and WBO titles.
