According to David Haye, who now works in a mangerial role with former foe Dereck Chisora, a heavyweight rematch between Chisora and Dillian Whyte is almost across the finish line. Chisora announced just last week that the fight to happen on Dec. 22.

Via Sky Sports:

“That’s the fight we’re working on and we’re 90 per cent there,” Haye told Channel 5.

”All of the major stumbling blocks regarding negotiations have been passed and we are in a very good place.”

Haye would continue to say they’re now just working on putting the finishing touches on the deal and that he’s hopeful we’ll get the fight fans want to see.

Whyte and Chisora previously fought in a 2016 fight that saw Whyte squeak out a close split decision win. That loss never sat right with Chisora, and he has claimed ever since that he’d like another shot at Whyte. Well, he might finally get what he’s been asking for.
