2012 gold medalist Ryota Murata will get some similarly credentialed co-stars for his October 20th title defense against Rob Brant, including Michael Conlan, Vladimir Nikitin, and Esquiva Falcao.

Conlan (8-0, 4 KO) joins Murata on ESPN, taking on Nicola Cipoletta (14-6-2, 4 KO). Rival Nikitin (1-0, 0 KO), whose controversial Olympic win over Conlan provoked the latter’s infamous outburst, faces Clay Burns (5-4-2, 0 KO) on the ESPN+ prelims in his first eight-round fight.

Other highlights include 2012 silver medalist Falcao (21-0, 15 KO) against Guido Pitto (25-5-2, 8 KO) and 2016 gold medalist Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (5-0, 2 KO) against Wilberth Lopez (23-9, 15 KO). Falcao is in the WBA top 10 and lost to Murata in Athens, making a rematch between the two in the pro ranks an intriguing option.
