Callum Johnson says he fears no one, Artur Beterbiev included, as he closes in on his IBF world title shot this Saturday in Chicago, live on DAZN.

“It took me about half a second to say yes. I am not in this game to turn down an opportunity like this. I know I am fighting a real good fighter, he’s a feared man but I fear no one. When it’s all said and done we are both human beings, we’re both going to be in that ring, we both can throw power and it will be what it’ll be.”

Johnson (17-0, 12 KO) is getting the first world title shot of his career, after winning the British and Commonwealth titles at 175 pounds. Beterbiev (12-0, 12 KO) is considered one of the best in the world at the weight, and is a sizable favorite in the matchup, with good reason.

Johnson has also said he feels it’ll be a fan-friendly fight, and it does have show-stealing potential if Johnson comes out to fight the way he says he will.
