WBC Super Flyweight Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai didn’t get the knockout he wanted in his ONE FC debut, but it wasn’t for lack of trying, as he smacked Iran Diaz around for twelve rounds on his way to a one-sided decision win.

Sor Rungvisai (47-4-1, 41 KO) committed to the body early, and though Diaz (14-3-3, 6 KO) was ready and willing to swing with him, he couldn’t match the Thai’s pace for long. Once the body shots started piling up, Sor Rungvisai was free to march straight after Diaz, shrugging aside incoming fire to repeatedly tag “MagnifiKO” in the later rounds. Sor Rungvisai ultimately won 34 of 36 rounds on the judges’ combined scorecards.

You can watch the whole event, which also saw a nifty one-punch knockout from Muin Gafurov and submission legend Shinya Aoki putting Ev Ting to sleep in under a minute, on YouTube here. The boxing starts right at the 3:00:00 mark.

There was talk of pitting Sor Rungvisai against IBF champ Jerwin Ancajas in the near future, although the matchup lost some of its appeal after Ancajas barely scraped out a draw against Alexis Santiago last week.
