Former titleholders Peter Quillin and Caleb Truax will meet in a must-win bout on April 13, when the two headline a PBC on FS1 card from Truax’s turf in Minneapolis.

Quillin (34-1-1, 23 KO) is a former middleweight titleholder who was sparked out in one round by Daniel Jacobs back in Dec. 2015, and sort of disappeared after that. He didn’t fight at all in 2016, and just once in 2017 against journeyman Dashon Johnson, winning a decision.

But he got back on the horse this past August, dominating over 10 rounds against J’Leon Love, and now he’s looking to move into legitimate super middleweight contention.

Truax (30-4-2, 19 KO) is best-known for a stunning Dec. 2017 upset over James DeGale in the United Kingdom, when he went on the road as a would-be tune-up opponent and left with a super middleweight world title. DeGale won a rematch this past April in Las Vegas, and Truax returned in August with a bounce-back victory in Minnesota.
