Pacquiao-Broner: Live Opening Press Conference (11 a.m. ET)

Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner kick off their press tour in New York City.

Today, starting at 11 a.m. ET, Showtime Sports will be live streaming the opening press conference for Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner. All the festivities and antics can be viewed right here on BLH! You can also catch the live stream on Showtime Boxing’s Facebook page, if you’re so inclined.

Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) and Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) will begin their short press run with a stop today in New York, and then a stop in Los Angeles tomorrow afternoon, where they’ll be announcing their upcoming fight.

The common thought here is that this fight is intended to be a precursor to a Pacquiao rematch with Floyd Mayweather sometime next year, but we’ll just have to see how that all shakes out. For now Pacquiao, 39, is coming into this fight off the first knockout since 2009, stopping Lucas Matthysse in July, while Broner, 29, enters this fight coming off a draw with Jessie Vargas in April.
