Pacquiao: Broner a little fat, needs to train hard

Manny Pacquiao answers media questions about his January fight with Adrien Broner.

In this short video clip of media questions posed to Manny Pacquiao, following his press conference with Adrien Broner, Pacquiao discusses his expectations for the fight and what he’s been thinking thus far...

Pacquiao on what he expects his training schedule to look like:

“I have to finish my work in the senate and after that celebrate my birthday. But while working and celebrating my birthday I’m still in training, of course. And after my birthday celebration I come back [to train in Los Angeles].”

On what he made of Broner’s physique when he saw him at the press conference:

“Well, he’s a little bit fat. He need to train. He need to train more, work hard for this fight.”

On if he’s expecting a fan-friendly action fight:

“I hoping for, like my last fight with Matthysse. More action...and I’m hoping also [for the same result].”

On if he’ll still box if he becomes president of the Philippines:

“I hope so.”
