American viewers will get a chance to see this Friday’s battle between Jeff Horn and Anthony Mundine through legal channels courtesy of ESPN+, which secured the rights to the catchweight bout. Time zones are still a thing, unfortunately, so those of us in the capital-W West will have to get up at around 6:30 AM to catch the main event.

Horn (18-1-1, 12 KO) followed up his controversial decision over Manny Pacquiao with a one-sided stoppage of Gary Corcoran. He wound up on the receiving end of an even more lopsided thrashing his next time out courtesy of Terence Crawford, who won every round before polishing Horn off in the ninth.

Mundine (48-8, 28 KO) turned 43 this past May and is 2-3 in his last five, including batterings from Joshua Clottey and Charles Hatley. Even with the weight advantage afforded to him by a 156.5-pound catchweight, he’s a considerable underdog.
