As IBF junior lightweight champion Tevin Farmer (27-4-1, 6 KOs) prepares to make his second title defense against Francisco Fonseca (22-1-1, 16 KOs) this weekend on DAZN, the Philly fighter held an open media workout which can be viewed above thanks to our friends at Fight Hub TV.

Farmer won the vacant IBF title by outpointing Billy Dib in August and then went on to make his first defense against James Tennyson in late October, which Farmer won by stoppage. He’ll now take on a former opponent of his rival Gervonta Davis, and Farmer believes he’ll be able to stop Fonseca in four rounds or less.

In this open media workout you can watch Farmer put some of his skills on display, showcasing his hand speed, slick defense, and swift footwork during a mitts session. Farmer has been brimming with confidence ever since snagging a world title, and he says that being a champion has only made him a better fighter.

We’ll see what kind of form Farmer has in just a couple of days when Farmer competes on the Canelo Alvarez-Rocky Fielding undercard.
