Amir Khan urges Kell Brook to come out of the closet

The bitter rivalry between Khan and Brook appears to have reached a new level of pathetic.

If you thought the bitterness between domestic rivals Amir Khan and Kell Brook was bad before, it’s just got a whole lot more petty. In a recent interview with Khan, the British rival goes on a rant where he accuses Kell Brook of being a closet homosexual.

In the interview, which can be viewed on The Sun, Khan says:

“There’s talks about [Brook] being gay. I mean, if you are a real man, come out and say ‘yeah, you know, I’m gay’ and it is what it is. Come out and tell the truth. Speak out about it. Don’t be afraid...

“If he is a confident man he needs to come out and tell the world who he really is, because people wanna know about him. People wanna know who is this Kell Brook...”

Khan then intimates that Brook’s infamous stabbing attack in Tenerife was due to Brook propositioning himself to an unwilling man.

“Tell us what happened when you got stabbed,” Khan said. “I mean, was it because tried it on with some poor guy? He tried to get it on with some poor guy. I mean these are things that have been told from his own camp. I mean I wasn’t there to see it but I’ve been told and he’s living a crazy life. So maybe that’s why he’s dying for this fight against me, because he knows he needs that quick payday. Let’s see.”

A source close to Brook told The Sun that Brook wouldn’t comment on Khan’s statement, with him preferring to secure the fight against Khan and knock him out of the ring.
