Tonight at 8 pm ET on FOX, Jermall and Jermell Charlo both return to the ring in Brooklyn, co-headlining a tripleheader from Barclays Center.
In what will serve as the night’s official main event and last bout, Jermall Charlo (27-0, 21 KO) defends his interim WBC middleweight title against late replacement opponent Matt Korobov (28-1, 14 KO). Charlo was originally supposed to face Willie Monroe Jr, and Korobov is a much different fighter than Monroe, so we’ll have to see if the late change makes any difference. Korobov, now 35, was once seen as a future contender in the sport, though that’s never really played out.
Jermell Charlo (31-0, 15 KO) will defend his WBC junior middleweight title against Tony Harrison (27-2, 21 KO) in what is officially the co-feature.
And in the opener, heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale (19-1, 17 KO) will take on Carlos Negron (20-1, 16 KO) in a fight scheduled for 10 rounds.
