Groves-Eubank: George Groves' Media Workout

Groves puts his WBA title on the line in this weekend's WBSS semifinals.

WBA super middleweight titleholder George Groves also held his open media workout ahead of this weekend's big fight in Manchester. Groves will be taking on the brash-talking Chris Eubank Jr. as part of the World Boxing Super Series' semifinals.

And while a lot of fans view this as something of a toss-up fight — with there still being some unanswered questions about how good Eubank Jr. really is — Groves doesn't particularly understand why Eubank Jr. is being viewed to be on par with him.

"On paper, this is billed as a 50-50 fight with Eubank Jr. maybe even being made the favorite. I don’t really understand that.

”I think the form, the history, the experience, the ability all lie in my favor and I’m looking forward to a big night."

A big night it is expected to be in Manchester, as this match-up has been one of the most anticipated of the entire tournament.
