Saturday night’s FOX card is good to go, though there was one weigh-in issue.

Tomorrow night’s PBC on FOX card is ready, as Victor Ortiz and Devon Alexander made weight for the show from El Paso, Texas, though there was one fighter who had trouble on the scales.

Ortiz (32-6-2, 25 KO) and Alexander (27-4, 14 KO) meet in a pivotal welterweight main event, scheduled for 12 rounds. The two fighters both desperately need the win to stay in the mix at 147, and they both looked in good shape ahead of the fight.

Ortiz came in at 146.4 pounds, with Alexander just north of that at 146.6, both under the limit.

In the super middleweight co-feature, Rogelio “Porky” Medina (38-8, 32 KO) missed weight for his IBF eliminator against Caleb Plant (16-0, 10 KO), but the fight will go on. Plant weighed in at a ready 166.8 pounds, but Medina came in heavy at 168.8, nearly a pound over the limit. The IBF’s No. 2 ranking is on the line for Plant, but not for Medina, even if he wins.
