The drama never ends for Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
A report from the NY Daily News says that the future Hall of Fame boxer will be headed to trial with his ex-fiancée, with the pair having dueling lawsuits with one another.
Mayweather’s ex had originally filed suit against him back in September 2014, alleging that Mayweather physically abused her by choking, twisting her arm, and pointing a gun at her foot while asking “Which toe do you want me to shoot?” The ex-fiancée additionally complained about Mayweather publicly shaming her by posting a sonogram of their twins babies, which he said she had aborted.
After years of back-and-forth, the courts ultimately threw out her defamation claim, but did allow her to move forward with her invasion of privacy complaint along with her assault and battery claims.
Mayweather, meanwhile, filed a counter-suit against the woman, claiming she stole large amounts of cash from him during their eight year relationship.
At this time Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Monica Bachner has ordered both parties back in April to put jury selection on the calendar.
