“Yes and no...Yes because, you know, just I still champion, just bring my belt to home. An no because it’s not legal...I big boxing fan, you know, these not legal, these not clean sport. I like clean sport.”
On if he’s bothered by having a draw on his record:
“No I’m feeling very comfortable because, you know, just, I understand my situation, I understand this business. Today I stand here because I understand this business.”
On what he thinks he could do better in the rematch:
“A lot...One thing? Beat him!”
On fans asking why the body attack disappeared in the first fight:
“Yes, I believe I bring this point on May 5th. I show you on May 5th.”
On if Canelo’s speed surprised him in the first fight:
“Not a lot, no. I know this is bad day for him and bad day for me. RIght now this is new story, new fight, and everything’s new.”
On if he wants to be more aggressive in the rematch:
“Of course we both need be more aggressive.”
Of if he thinks he can win on the scorecards by simply outboxing Canelo of if he has to fight more aggressively to win:
“I believe I show you on May 5th, this is new Triple G.”

“My goal is all the belts in the middleweight division...”
On if he expects the rematch to be harder than the first:
“100%, yes.”
