WATCH: Noaya Inoue drops sparring partner

Inoue displays his speed and power in this training session.

In this video clip caught by FIght Hub TV, WBO super flyweight titleholder Naoya Inoue shows off some of his stuff as he keeps sharp in between fights. Inoue is shown honing his craft on the mitts before putting some of those lessons into practice during a sparring session.

As you’ll see, the 24-year-old champion has speed, power, and accuracy and uses those things to catch his sparring partner with a mean counter right uppercut that sends him to the canvas.

Inoue (15-0, 13 KOs) is most recently coming off third round stoppage over Yoann Boyeaux this past December, marking his fifth stoppage win in a row. And with there being a lot of talent at the top of the 115lb division (including the likes of Srisket Sor Rungvisai, Khalid Yafai, Jerwin Ancajas, and Juan Francisco Estrada) there’s potentially a number of good fights to be make in the division this year.

Unfortunately ‘Monster’ Inoue won’t be appearing on HBO’s upcoming SuperFly II card later this month, but hopefully we’ll still get to see some of those big match-ups take place in the near future.
