This Saturday night on Showtime Championship Boxing, Deontay Wilder defends the WBC heavyweight title against top contender Luis Ortiz in the main event of a doubleheader from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The show will also feature a super middleweight rematch between Andre Dirrell and Jose Uzcategui.

Alabama’s Wilder (39-0, 38 KO) will defend his WBC belt against Cuba’s Ortiz (28-0, 24 KO) in a matchup of unbeaten heavyweights, which has the ingredients for a potential slugfest between two very big men.

Dirrell (26-2, 16 KO) and Uzcategui (26-2, 22 KO) first met in May 2017, with Dirrell winning a controversial disqualification. Uzcategui led on the score cards at the time the fight was stopped, and was also sucker punched by one of Dirrell’s cornermen after the fight. The IBF ordered the rematch about a month later, and we’re finally going to see it on Saturday night.
