Wilder-Ortiz: Final Press Conference (Live at 12:30pm ET)

Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz hold their final presser today.

Today, starting at 12:30pm ET, Showtime Sports will be live streaming the final press conference for Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz, a fight set for this Saturday night. You can catch the full live stream right here on BLH!

WBC heavyweight titleholder Deontay Wilder has been talking quite brashly leading up to this fight, promising to do a number on Ortiz before getting him outta there, but Ortiz is perceived to be Wilder’s biggest challenge thus far — even at 38 years of age.

Conversely, Ortiz hasn’t been doing much talking at all leading into this fight, but has intimated that Wilder’s big mouth will get him in trouble as he looks to humble the heavyweight champ and take the world title.

Wilder and Ortiz had previously been scheduled to fight last year, but that fight fell apart after Ortiz tested positive for banned substances — substances he said were simply to treat his high blood pressure which he failed to disclose beforehand. Make of that what you will, but the two fighters appear to be finally good to go this weekend.
