Whyte vs Browne, more: Boxing fight times and TV schedule for March 24

It’s a small week for TV fights, headlined by a heavyweight clash on HBO and Sky.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Saturday, March 24

Sky Sports Main Event (UK), 3:30 pm ET, Frank Buglioni vs Callum Johnson, Lewis Ritson vs Scotty Cardle. The undercard for Whyte-Browne starts at 3:30 ET on Saturday, with a couple of British title fights highlighting the show.

HBO / Sky Sports Main Event (UK), 6:00 pm ET, Dillian Whyte vs Lucas Browne. HBO came in late to pick up U.S. TV rights for this fight, which is nice. It’s a meaningful fight in a hot division. The winner could very easily find himself in a world title fight next, if Joshua-Wilder doesn’t come off. It also could very well be another big boy slugfest, as the two both have real power and try for knockouts, and there’s been some animosity in the build-up. BLH will have live coverage.

ESPN, 8:30 pm ET, Jose Martinez vs Alejandro Santiago. Another smaller Golden Boy card in their ESPN deal.

TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm ET, Gustavo Daniel Lemos vs Damian Leonardo Yapur.
