The now-official May 12th showdown between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jorge Linares won’t be short on young talent, as Top Rank has added a bevy of young prospects and also Jamel Herring.

That was probably too mean, sorry.

The roster of unbeatens includes Michael Conlan (6-0, 5 KO), Carlos Adames (13-0, 11 KO), Teofimo Lopez Jr. (8-0, 6 KO), Mikaela Mayer (4-0, 3 KO), and Rio gold medalist Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (3-0, 1 KO). All of them are facing boxing’s greatest ironman, TBA.

God bless the absolute madman.

To watch Conlan (and, presumably, the others), you’ll have to have the ESPN App. There’s no word yet as to which, if any, fights will join Lomachenko-Linares on the main broadcast. One would think they’d at least stick one or two of these guys on there in order to raise their profiles, but that’s just me.
