Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Today at 2:30 pm ET on Sky Sports Main Event in the United Kingdom, Kell Brook headlines a bill from Sheffield, England, facing Sergey Rabchenko.

BLH will be here with live coverage for the main event, which should start sometime around 5 pm ET.

Brook (36-2, 25 KO) is looking to break a two-fight losing streak with this bout, his first since dropping a TKO to Errol Spence Jr last May. Brook is taking on a new weight class at 154 pounds, and hopes to win and get into the title race there.

Rabchenko (29-2, 22 KO) is a solid comeback opponent, but the obvious and clear underdog in the matchup.

On the undercard, Gamal Yafai (14-0, 7 KO) will face Gavin McDonnell (18-1-2, 5 KO) in a super bantamweight bout for a minor WBC title, and Lenroy Thomas (22-4, 10 KO) will defend the Commonwealth heavyweight title against David Allen (12-3-1, 9 KO).

  • Kell Brook def. Sergey Rabchenko by KO (1:27 of round 2)

Round 1: Rabchenko is coming out here looking to apply pressure, but Brook is holding his ground and looking for openings. Rabchenko fighting a bit sloppy, a little wild, and that’s good for Brook, who targets the body in a quiet moment. Both men looking to get the right range with the jab. Brook right there with the counters when Rabchenko opens up. He certainly doesn’t look shy about engaging. Brook 10-9

Round 2: Brook looking sharp. BEAUTIFUL uppercut nails him, and hurts him! Rabchenko’s legs are unsteady and he’s down on a right hand! He’s not going to beat the count! What a comeback for Kell Brook! Brook KO-2
