Middleweights Jermall Charlo and Daniel Jacobs have been having a go at one another via social media as of late, hoping to set up a showdown between the fighters. But when Charlo made it a point to look for Jacobs while in Brooklyn for the Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz fight, he got his wish.

In this video captured by Fight Hype, Charlo talks to media members about his preference for the two to skip their upcoming fights and just get right to the action with each other.

“Yeah, I’m looking for him right now,” Charlo said.

“Where they at? I’m in Brooklyn...Where ever they at, I’m bout to start on my Shannon ‘The Cannon’ shit...I just wanna know wassup. He feel some type of way, let’s get it on, like let’s skip the Centeno fight.

“Jacobs wanna fight, let’s fight! You feel like that let’s skip the Centeno fight. You ain’t gotta take your next fight either...let’s skip that shit and get to the bag.”

Then, just moments later, Jacobs came strolling down the hallway before noticing Charlo standing there.

“Ooohhh, I came at the perfect time!” Jacobs exclaimed.

The two fighters would start exchanging some words but unfortunately the entourages in attendance wanted to be apart of the face-to-face more than the fighters themselves, shouting over the two as they tried to sort out how they wanted to proceed.

Amidst all the brouhaha the fighters would end up shaking hands, acknowledging that they’re destined to square off in the near future. But even afterwards the two would still prod each other on Twitter.
