The April 7th super welterweight unified between Erislandy Lara and Jarrett Hurd officially has both a home and a co-feature. The fight will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino alongside the rematch between Caleb Truax and James DeGale.

Lara (25-2-2, 14 KO) vs. Hurd (21-0, 15 KO) is still just as intriguing as when it was first announced, a clash between a technical wizard and a big, strong, dangerous young puncher. Truax (29-3-2, 18 KO) vs. DeGale (23-2-1, 14 KO) was basically a given considering the first one was arguably 2017’s Upset of the Year, but it’s nice to see it attached to another strong matchup.

Not often you get a doubleheader where both fights could legitimately go either way. Should the card get any beefier, we’ll let you know.
