Jacobs vs Sulecki, more: Boxing fight times and TV schedule for April 28

Daniel Jacobs’ return headlines the week with a busy Saturday night of action.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Saturday, April 28

ESPN, 7:00 pm ET, Jessie Magdaleno vs Isaac Dogboe. A nice early evening start for this one, meaning it won’t run head-to-head with the HBO card later in the evening. Magdaleno is defending his 122-pound title in the main event. Jesse Hart is featured on the Philly card, too, against Demond Nicholson, plus Bryant Jennings vs Joey Dawejko in heavyweight action. BLH will have live coverage.

FOX, 8:30 pm ET, Josesito Lopez vs Miguel Cruz. This being a FOX main event in 2018 is a little surprising, but not unwelcome or anything. Cruz is an unbeaten prospect and Lopez is still a capable fighter, a great test for Cruz, and one that may be too much. Anthony Dirrell, Erickson Lubin, Jorge Lara, and Ryan Karl are also in action on this card. BLH will have live coverage.

HBO, 10:00 pm ET, Daniel Jacobs vs Maciej Sulecki, Jarrell Miller vs Johann Duhaupas. Jacobs is back in the main event from Brooklyn, taking on unbeaten Sulecki, a good fighter who has mostly campaigned at 154 but does have a middleweight win over Hugo Centeno Jr. The heavyweight co-feature is again meant to showcase Miller ahead of a potential world title fight later this year. BLH will have live coverage.

beIN Sports Español / Azteca (MEX), 11:00 pm ET, Kenia Enriquez vs Yokasta Valle.
