We’re now just a couple of days away from another great technican match-up between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jorge Linares, who will battle for Linares’ lightweight world title on ESPN this Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
And ahead of the fight, Lomachenko held an open media workout to display his current form for the fans, which can be viewed above courtesy of our colleagues at Fight Hub TV.
Lomachenko is moving up to 135lbs in this outing and is wasting no time in looking to add another notch in his belt by capturing yet another world title in just his 12th professional fight.
His opponent won’t be a pushover, though. Even if you’re not completely convinced that Linares, the stylish Venezuelan fighter, is durable to hold up at the elite level, there’s really no doubt that he has the size and skill to present Lomachenko with some real problems. The only real question is whether or not he’ll be able to keep it all together long enough to stave off Lomachenko, who already looks to be something truly special.
We’ll find out for certain on Saturday night, but for now you can check out BLH’s full preview of the fight right here!
