Stevenson vs Jack: Final Press Conference (Live at 2pm ET)

Adonis Stevenson defends his light heavyweight title against Badou Jack this Saturday on Showtime.

This afternoon, starting at 2pm ET, Showtime Sports will be live streaming the final press conference for Adonis Stevenson vs. Badou Jack. You can catch the full live stream right here on BLH.

In this fight Jack will be competing for Adonis Stevenson’s WBC light heavyweight title which will air live on Showtime this Saturday from the Air Canada Center in Toronto.

Stevenson (29-1, 24 KOs) enters this fight off a near year-long layoff, last taking out Andrezj Fonfara this past summer in two rounds. But for as quick work as that was, Stevenson hasn’t been keeping a busy schedule. He’s fought once last year, once in 2016, and twice in 2015.

Meanwhile Jack (22-1-2, 13 KOs) will be making his second appearance at light heavyweight, which follows his debut win over Nathan Cleverly last August. Jack has mentioned that he’s hoping that Stevenson is looking past him as that only provides him with more of an advantage.

On paper this should be a solid match-up, which is something pretty infrequent for Stevenson who hasn’t been in tough since perhaps Saiko Bika in 2015. At age 40 it’ll be interesting to see how he looks against what may be the first formidable opponent he’s seen in some time.
