Today, starting at 4pm ET, Showtime Sports will be live streaming the official weigh-in for Adonis Stevenson’s light heavyweight title defense against Badou Jack. You can catch the full stream right here on BLH.
In this bout Jack (22-1-2, 13 KOs) will be having his second stint at 175lbs, last taking out Nathan Cleverly in five rounds last August. The fight followed a debatable draw with James DeGale in January 2017, after which Jack said he could no longer make the super middleweight limit. So here he is, vying for the WBC world title under the helm of Floyd Mayweather.
Meanwhile WBC champion Stevenson (29-1, 24 KOs) is most recently coming off a knockout win over Andrezj Fonfara last summer. His title reign has left much to be desired, but this fight is at least better than most he’s been in recently. Stevenson said during yesterday’s press conference that he’ll be looking for a knockout in this fight to please the fans. We shall see. But in the interim watch above to see how the fighters look one day before they start throwing blows.
