WATCH: Jorge Linares prepares for Vasyl Lomachenko

Catch a glimpse of Jorge Linares in training camp.

As Jorge Linares gets ready to take on what is expected to be the toughest challenge of his career, facing Vasyl Lomachenko this weekend, Fight Hub TV is able to catch some footage of the WBA lightweight titleholder in training camp.

Linares (44-3, 27 KOs) is most recently coming off a unanimous decision over Mercito Gesta in January which marked his 13th consecutive win since he hit his little rough patch between 2009-2012, where he lost three fights by stoppage.

The Venezuelan fighter believes those troubles are behind him now but we’ll see for sure on Saturday, where he faces another elite level boxer.

Watch above to see Linares blast the shield as he practices getting his power and leverage technique together, hoping to inflict some serious damage on Lomachenko in this fight. Linares will need a bit of everything to cope with a fighter as dymanic as Loma, but he just so happens to be one of the world’s most skilled fighters himself.
