The June 16th Showtime card headlined by a IBF welterweight title bout between champ Errol Spence Jr. and Carlos Ocampo has bulked up into a proper tripleheader. In addition to the main event, the card will now feature Danny Roman defending his WBA super bantamweight belt against Moises Flores and Javier Fortuna making his super lightweight debut against Adrian Granados.

Roman (24-2-1, 9 KO) ran roughshod over Shun Kubo to win the belt last September, then dominated Ryo Matsumoto at Korakuen Hall in February. Flores (25-0, 17 KO) previously held the interim version of that title, but has been out of action since his No Contest flop against Guillermo Rigondeaux a year back.

Fortuna (33-2-1, 23 KO), a former champion at 126 and 130, missed the lightweight limit against Robert Easter Jr. earlier this year in what would have been a split draw had he not lost a point for holding and hitting. I’m not convinced 140 pounds is the right place for the 5’6” “Abejon,” who’ll give up almost six inches of reach to the iron-tough Granados (18-6-2, 12 KO).
