Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller get into heated confrontation at DAZN presser

This fight could be next on the docket if Deontay Wilder talks continue to stall.

During a DAZN press conference, which also announced Anthony Joshua vs. Alexander Povetkin as an upcoming fight, titleholder Joshua can be seen getting ruffled by some brash talk by Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller who was also on stage.

During a face-off between Joshua and Povetkin, Miller can be heard yelling things out to onlookers:

“They’re small fries compared to me...I like English muffins out here.”

The comments prompted Joshua to turn around and confront Miller who was more than happy to reciprocate the attention. Joshua and Miller would go nose-to-nose before Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn intervened.

There’s been a lot of talk surround the potential of an Anthony Joshua vs. Jarrell Miller fight this past year, mostly attributed to Miller’s affiliation with Hearn combined with the convenience of the fight being a relatively easy way to break Joshua into the U.S. market.

Joshua has since committed to having his next two fights at Wembley Stadium, so the American crossover angle might not exactly play out in the short term, but If a Wilder fight continues to be marinated look to this match-up as one that’s more than likely to happen.
