Joseph Diaz Jr missed weight today for tomorrow night’s shot at Jesus Rojas’ WBA “world” featherweight title, but the fight will go on, with Rojas leaving with the belt no matter the result of the fight.

Diaz (26-1, 14 KO) was hoping to make up for a loss to WBC titleholder Gary Russell Jr in May by bouncing right back and claiming a different title, but that’s not going to happen. The 25-year-old former Olympian weighed in at 126.6 pounds, or just over a half pound heavier than the limit.

Rojas (26-1-2, 19 KO) weighed in at 125.8.

The main event will be the last of four fights to air on Facebook tomorrow night, starting at 9 pm ET. The other three fights will be:

  • Damon Allen (15-0-1, 5 KO) vs Jonathan Navarro (14-0, 7 KO), junior welterweights, 8 rounds
  • Ferdinand Kerobyan (9-0, 5 KO) vs Jose Rivera (6-3, 4 KO), middleweights, 6 rounds
  • Aaron McKenna (4-0, 3 KO) vs Rolando Mendivil (10-4, 3 KO), welterweights, 4 rounds
