We’ve said pretty much everything there is to be said about this fight in recent days; Pulev (25-1, 13 KO), who split from the Sauerlands earlier today, is the aging veteran who’s looking to secure his first real achievement since getting left hook’d into oblivion by Wladimir Klitschko four years ago. Fury (21-1, 11 KO) is the youngster who came up just short in his first bid at glory against Joseph Parker a year back.
Good storyline, good matchmaking. Good fight? No idea. I’m not the best prognosticator in the world, what with my general lack of pattern recognition, but I’m not expecting a slobberknocker here. At least it won’t be too pricey.
