Jon Fernandez and O’Shaquie Foster will headline a three-fight ShoBox card on September 21 from Shawnee, Oklahoma, in a 10-round super featherweight bout.

Fernandez (16-0, 14 KO) has shown off great power so far as a pro, and now the 22-year-old Spaniard will look to stay unbeaten against 24-year-old ShoBox veteran Foster (13-2, 8 KO), a crafty fighter who has had mixed results on the series.

“O’Shaquie Foster is a very good fighter and although he was the underdog he put on a great performance by beating Frankie Alba in his last fight,” Fernandez said. “This is a big fight for both of us. I’m grateful to Lou DiBella for this opportunity to again show why I’m one of the best prospects in boxing.”

“This is a great opportunity for me,” said Foster. “I know how good Fernandez is and how well thought of he is, but once we get in the ring, I’ll show the world that I’m a future world champion. I’ve been in training and will be ready for victory on September 21.”

The other two fights on the card are both set for eight rounds. In the featherweight division, Irvin Gonzalez Jr (10-0, 9 KO) will take on Carlos Ramos (9-0, 6 KO), and in the lightweight opener, Wesley Ferrer (12-0-1, 7 KO) will meet Steven Ortiz (8-0, 3 KO).
