According to former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, he’s struck a deal to face Deontay Wilder this December in Las Vegas. Fury boasts to Behind the Gloves that he was able to negotiate the deal with Wilder’s team in only two days for what will be a notable heavyweight clash.

“Las Vegas is the destination, so I’ve been told. December is the month, 2018 is the year.

”It’s going to be a massive boxing event. You’ve got two of the biggest heavyweights in the world, the tallest with the biggest mouths. One from America, one from the United Kingdom. It’s going to be an epic battle.”

Fury didn’t disclose details regarding the specific date or the venue where the bout will be held, but these talks have already gone much further than the Joshua-Wilder negotiations in only a fraction of the time.

In the meantime Fury will have to take care of business against Francesco Pianeta on Aug. 18 before he gets to Wilder. But assuming he does get through that fight clean and gets fully prepared to face Wilder in December, who ya got?
